Heart Mountain New Beginnings provides treatment for most teen behavioral problems. We have found that youth therapy is more successful outside of traditional institutions. Our unique therapeutic approach breaks down walls and goes beyond standard practices. Traditional treatment primarily focuses on talk therapy often falling short, leaving parents feeling lost and confused. We have found the popular “cure by pill” method to be widely overused and seldom successful. We are usually able to eliminate most adolescent behavioral medications, or at a minimum reduce their dosage and dependence.
We specialize in providing youth therapy for the following teen behavioral problems:
- Substance abuse (no detoxification)
- Defiance disorder
- Poor friend choices
- Low self-esteem
- Abandonment issues
- Divorce reaction
- Grief/loss issues
- Sexual Promiscuity
- Academic Problems
- Non-violent anger issues
Audio/Visual addictions including:
- Video games
Our therapist comes to the ranch and conduct our weekly individual therapy and counseling sessions.

The baby you held, the young boy with all that energy and enthusiasm for the world, seems to have disappeared. We are here to help find him. Counseling, therapy, medication, punishment – you’ve tried them all and nothing seems to work; your family is being torn apart and you are desperate. We understand how you feel. All is not lost. Our unique juvenile treatment turns lives around, the life of you, your child, and your family. Our goal is the eventual reuniting of you with the son you know as your true child.
Many parents have been faced with the extremely difficult decision that you are faced with now; far too many wait too long. The younger a troubled teen is when they enter our program, the higher the chances of lasting success. Waiting for things to change, hoping things will turn around, is not the answer. If you are looking for help, chances are, you are in need of it. The downward spiral of a troubled boy is rapid. One day he seems simply troubled and the next, he may be completely out of control. Don’t wait; contact us now. Our experienced admissions staff is available to answer your questions and help you make the right youth therapy decision for your teen and your family.
